Chelsea Brennan of Smart Money Mamas created and organized Mamas Talk Money, an online summit where moms talk and learn about money.

I hadn't heard about Smart Money Mamas or the summit prior to meeting Chelsea, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out what I was being hired to do!

Chelsea asked me to shoot footage of some of the nearly 50 speakers who are hosting talks during Mamas Talk Money. That meant I got to hear a sneak peek of what's to come!

I met Chelsea and her tribe of mommas at the Washington Hilton where they were attending this year's FinCon event.

I was so impressed.

She brought together over a dozen entrepreneurs, podcasters, authors, and influencers who are all mommas with plenty of advice to share.

During their brunch at Kramerbooks & Afterwords Cafe, they all got to know each other and hear about each other's successes and talks planned for Mamas Talk Money.

Confidence, power and knowledge emanated from that meeting, and I was happy to capture it all on camera.

Chelsea's Story

Chelsea, a mother of two boys, says she left Wall Street (where she was a hedge fund manager for several years) to create Smart Money Mamas.

Why did she do it?

Chelsea says she left Wall Street “to pursue her passion for personal finance education and create a lifestyle that allowed her to spend more time with her young boys.”

Three words I would use to describe Chelsea are confident, passionate and strong.

She made the leap many of us dream of one day doing: Leaving a full-time job and pursuing a passion. She is such a motivation!

It was a pleasure working with her, and I'm so glad I was introduced to Smart Money Mamas.
