The Osprey's at Belmont Bay Wedding | Carol + Jake
"It doesn't take a genius to realize that high school relationships rarely work out, but from the moment I met them both, I never had any doubt that they would get married," Brad Sherman, the best man, said during his speech. He was referring to Carol and Jake, the high school sweethearts who finally got to say "I do" on May 1, 2022. They had originally planned to get married in 2020 but had to postpone due to COVID. Their Ospreys at Belmont Bay wedding was filled with happy tears and kind words. It was an amazing way to kick off the busy wedding season.
The day began with rain and forced the outdoor ceremony indoors, but as luck would have it, the rain cleared up just in time for Carol and Jake's first look. With a large willow tree and a green field in the background, Jake turned around to see his bride. They hugged and kissed, then shared a few minutes together before the bridal party joined for more portraits.
Thankfully, the rain never came back that day. Not only were we able to enjoy all of the bridal party and family portraits outdoors, but we even managed to sneak out during the reception for sunset photos.
The sun wasn't the only thing glowing - Carol and Jake did too. Everywhere they turned, someone was waiting to hug and congratulate them. They were surrounded by so many loved ones, and it was the magical day we all hoped it would be.
I would be remiss not to brag on The Osprey's at Belmont Bay. This venue really designed every aspect through a photographer's lens. The bridal and groom suites have so much natural light, and the decor and layout throughout the entire venue were so pleasing. I can say with all honesty, this is my favorite wedding venue! Amy Domenech was so kind and helpful all day, especially when last-minute changes needed to be made. It's always a great wedding day when vendors work together to help make a dream come true. Special thanks to these vendors as well:

Dear Carol and Jake,
Your kindness is unmatched. As Oksana, Maggie, and Brad all shared during their speeches, you are both so genuine and down-to-earth. I am so blessed to have been your wedding photographer. Everything about your day was beautiful and perfect. May your wedding photos be a lifelong reminder of not only the day you celebrated your marriage, but also, how many people love and support you.
